For angles up to ± 5°, read the top precise scale, for angles over ± 5°, use the lower scale for readings up to ±35°. Suitable for use in vehicles, e.g. for perfect parking of motorhomes and caravans or for estimating the slope inclination when off-road driving Can be screwed on using four holes or glued with the enclosed double adhesive tape. Wanted to leave a review covering this Silva Clinometer as I couldn't see any that provided me with the answers I sought.The items isn't 10mm thick entirely. The two tubes containing the balls are raised (10mm), the rest...View More of the plate is circa 5mm.The rear of the plate, which is white is a piece of solid plastic. Which appears to be circa 1/2 the depth of the base plate, thus I reckon it's 2.5mm thick. It doesn't feel thin, skimpy, or any possibility to place a hole in it unlessView Less
