Not cheap but robust and top quality

My piano came with a small, light peddle, but I didn't like it. This peddle has a good weight and feels like a regular peddle. It is good to brace it on something to keep it from traveling, especially on carpeting.

I tried two of these pedals with a MIDI controller (piano keyboard) and the MIDI signal the pedal produces in continuous mode is erratic (very noisy, swamps the MIDI data stream) and the range of min and max output values...View More degrades after just a few hours of use (went form 0 to 127 to 0 to 100 and less). Works in switch mode but in continuous mode it's hopeless. For MIDI recordings it badly pollutes the data stream.
