I had been oogling this stand for a while and caught it when it was on a ridiculous sale. Sweet. The clamp is a bit funky if all one has used is PARK stands, but it functions the same as a wood clamp.

I have been buying these in mass quantities for my bike techs that work for my company across the U.S. and these are what I recommend and sell. Any third grader can figure out how to operate this stand and it is VERY user...View More friendly, these do NOT break as fast as the Park Tools crap stands do. Park Tools portable stands are NOT designed for commercial use, only the Pedros portables are due to their durable construction. Out of the box, it was difficult to set up. The instructions were very vague. I had to go to the Pedro's website to get the "Helpful Hints" on how to set it up properly. After reading the "Helpful...View More Hints", I realized that one of the legs was mis-aligned...folded in the wrong direction...right out of the box. Once I fixed that problem and got it to stand up properly, I put my mountain bike on it and attempted to tighten the clamp. However, the clamp trigger/lockingView Less
