I have tried one or two of the many cheap brands flooding the market which sell for £100-£150 and this is much better. The rim is quite shallow and so yes it does have a slightly hollow sound which is a bit thin and lacking depth. But it is less hollow. lessView Less

I’ve read that the strings are rubbish. Not expert enough to know for sure but I broke one accidentally. Fretboard width isn’t big which will be a positive for small hands. However, I’m tall & even my long, slender fingers...View More are having difficulty not duffing notes on the c-chord hold. The strap holders are very flimsy. I already had to repair with pliers. It’s also quite heavy but I have nothing to compare it against. It seems pretty good overall & I’m really enjoying trying to figure itView Less
