So disappointed with the sound of this model. After hours of putting each piece together (exactly as it was written in the instructions), I am really disappointed with how it turned out. The model looks fine, but sounds bad...View More (definitely not like the demonstration video shows; also, you can’t really hear what it would sound like cuz they put loud music over the video).
Sadly not what I was expecting. Especially for how much I payed.View Less

Bought this kit for my father for Christmas last year cause he used to own an original Beetle back in the 60s. Since he has started building it he has discovered he is missing two parts and has an excess part.
He is missing both...View More cylinder heads (item 18) and has an excess crank case left (item 7).
Went to their website (which was in German only) and managed to submit a parts request. I then read their shipping section FAQ and they apparently don't ship outside of the EU? We are located inView Less

This was a great model. The parts fit very well, with one exception, and the instructions were clear. The exception to the parts fitting well was where the engine shroud met the aft section of the crankcase, i had to nip off a...View More corner of the shroud in order for it to fit, then it was ok. The nipped corner was not visible to casual observation so it looks fine. I like the fact that glue was not required. The book that came with the model was excellent.
