After the events of Overlord: Raising Hell, the Overlord was missing from the world. Without his reign of terror, the Glorious Empire—a power similar to the Roman Empire—expanded in a campaign driven by decadent politicians and gigantic military forces. Its declared goal: to exterminate all forms of magic and magical creatures. But in the arctic regions, the Empire’s Inquisition encounters a small boy who is said to have magical powers.
