Outlaw Volleyball offers every mode you would expect from a sports game. In single matches, you can play a casual game against the computer or against your friends, and in the tutorial menu, the basics of beach volleyball are taught to you in an amusing way through videos. The most important feature, however, is the tournament mode, because only here do you have the opportunity to unlock new athletes or venues. There are a total of 50 challenges to complete, whereby the player is rewarded with new players or arenas even for smaller progress. The characters, initially very limited in their abilities, are also upgraded through the tournament mode and thus become increasingly competitive. Fortunately, the challenges are not limited to simple games against the computer but have been spiced up with special difficulties. It is therefore quite possible that a bomb lies in the middle of the field, which of course explodes at the most inconvenient moment and can cost you an important point.
