Not fit for purpose. The wood is very soft and hamsters are chewers, chewed through and escaped within a week. Save your money and look elsewhere

Two wooden supports that hold the floors together fell off exposing sharp tacks that scratched our hamsters leg. These were factory assembled parts and not the customer assembled sections. I had to reinforce the loose parts...View More with screws to ensure they did not come loose again. We had a Roborovski dwarf hamster so size of pet damaging the cage was not the issue.View Less

Positives:-It's largeNegatives:-Hamsters just chew the cage-Plexiglass windows are a mess (there's marks all over them that won't clean off)-The wood is really thin and cheap-Unvarnished wood not waterproofOverall...View More it's a really poorly designed product not really suitsble for hamsters. An easy fix for this would be to just make the wood smooth on the inside rather than ridged and coating the wood so it's waterproof.View Less

DO NOT BUY FOR HAMSTERS!!!my hamster chewed right through it in one night and escaped luckily he didn't get far and I found him but honestly this isn't a secure enclosure. Buy somthing that'll keep your hamster safe...View More and secure.
