Easy to pick up. Rules are clear and not overly complex. Enough dynamics with character abilities and curses to keep the game interesting with lots of replay value. My 8-year old boy loved it and so did his 10 and 12 year old cousins. I liked it enough to play it a few times, but the kids couldn't get enough of it and would play it over and over. Great buy!
