Works very well, although I only ever seem to use it for actual steaming on the High setting user the lower settings just to keep the water ready for the next batch.

I brought this product last year and it is brilliant thick gage metal body easy temp control and steams perfectly and built to last it would benefit from a smaller secondary trivet but that's down to you it's a good size...View More so bear that in mind 10/10View Less
