Dead battery

The product came with a bad battery. At the beginning of use, the battery lasted about 10 minutes. That was just enough time to save all the data and shut down the computer. After less than 2 months of use, the battery does not...View More last even 2 minutes.
With the battery fully charged, I ran a self-diagnostic and the battery was down to 0.
I am very disappointed.
P.S. The power consumption of my computer is about 100W.View Less

The device is very easy to use, and the BE700G has the data port that connects to USB and can be used to monitor the UPS, and decide which action to take on powerloss (power down after defined time etc...) Easy to use, and...View More worked with apcupsd in linux. Only issue, the battery was apparently not "detected" anymore after 4 years, which is the normal time for the battery life. Not sure if the battery is un-usable but the UPS is happy and working again with a new battery.View Less
